Everything Happens for a Reason

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8:
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to be silent, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time for war, and a time for peace."

No one in this world is perfect. We all have weaknesses. It is human nature to make mistakes, but what truly matters is that we learn from them and strive to walk the right path.

The world we live in is in turmoil. Natural disasters—fires, storms, floods, earthquakes—strike in different parts of the globe. Wars rage between nations, driven by power struggles and the fight for rights and freedom.

In the Philippines, our country faces its own battles. Corruption thrives as some in power abuse their positions for personal gain. Problems that once seemed to have solutions—such as the fight against illegal drugs—have resurfaced due to negligence. Crime syndicates, kidnappings, and robberies have once again taken root.

Anyone who dares to challenge these wrongdoings is met with resistance. Those in power will do everything they can to silence voices of truth, often twisting the narrative to discredit and destroy them in the eyes of the public.

One of the greatest issues we face as a people is our tendency to be easily swayed by misinformation. Too often, we believe in rumors and speculation without verifying the facts. Because of ignorance, many blindly follow orders—even when they are wrong—in exchange for fleeting rewards, only to regret their choices later.

If only we knew how to be content. If only we could stand united. If only we chose to live with love and prioritize our relationship with God, our lives would be different.

Power, wealth, and worldly pleasures are temporary. The trials our nation faces today are not without purpose—they are reminders, lessons from the Lord. Now is the time to change what must be changed, to repent for our sins, and to turn back to Him.

Pinakamalamig na panahon

dito sa aming lugar

January - February 2025

Parang sobrang saya maglaro at magpa picture.
